My Background

Drew Faloon

Lack of access to financial education or resources should not be the reason you do not achieve your dreams.

I always tell people that I started in the financial services industry because it was intuitive. And it was. From as far back as I can remember, I had an emergency fund. Usually a few hundred dollars I had gotten from birthdays and christmas that was supossed to cover any "emergencies" I could have as a 10 year old. On top of that, I have always been good with numbers and math, which ultimetly led me to graduate with a degree in Finance from Fort Lewis College.

The real reason is a lot deeper than that actually. I was raised in a divorced family where I witnessed both sides struggle to gain any real traction. Despite all the hard work and being great individuals, both of my parents had little hope to fully live out their dreams. This is painful for me. And the issue lies in a lack of education and resources to learn about money. So that is my real reason for why I am in this industry. I saw a problem in this world that affected me personally and I was inspired to help fix it.

If I am not working on building my career, I am likely sleeping or spending time outside with my Australian Shepard-Blue Heeler mix. He accompanies me on hikes short and long and helps me strive for conquering all 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado. Beyond those activities, I enjoy watching/coaching/playing football and basketball in my free time.

My hope is this section resonates with a few people. Either you experienced a similar upbringing to me, you have similar interests to me or maybe you have just been putting the "financial talk" for too long. Either way, I love to connect with new people and would love to learn more about you and see if there is anyway I can be a resource.
